About TempsMail

A disposable inbox that opens in one click — and disappears when you are done.

TempsMail gives you a working email address instantly, with no sign-up and no personal data. Use it for the sign-ups that do not deserve your real address, read the message as it arrives, and let the address expire on its own.

WHAT YOU GET An address generated for you the moment the page loads Messages that appear on screen in real time, without refreshing A choice of lifetimes from 2 to 20 minutes No account, no password, no email of your own
354,770inboxes opened since September 2025
10 minutesdefault lifetime of an address
34interface languages
5active domains
01 Nothing to sign up for No account, no password, no phone number. The address exists for as long as you need it and then it is gone — there is no profile left behind to leak.
02 Your real inbox stays out of it The address you hand over is ours, not yours. If it ends up on a marketing list or in a breach dump, the trail stops at an inbox that no longer exists.
03 Built for the small stuff, and we say so This is the right tool for a download link or a one-time code. It is the wrong tool for your bank. We would rather tell you that than win a sign-up.
HOW AN ADDRESS LIVES

Every address goes through three stages

1CreatedA random local part is paired with one of our active domains the moment you open the site. Nothing about you is recorded to make it.
2ReceivingMail sent to that address is accepted by our servers and pushed to your screen as it arrives. You never log in, and you never refresh.
3ExpiredAt the end of its lifetime the address stops accepting mail and its messages are removed. Generate a new one and the old one is not recoverable.

What is TempsMail?

TempsMail is a free temporary email service — also called disposable, throwaway or burner email. It hands you a working inbox without an account, keeps it alive for a few minutes while you collect whatever you were sent, then deletes it. Since September 2025 it has opened 354,770 inboxes, currently about 12,000 a month, across 5 active domains and 34 interface languages.

What we do

Five things, in the order people actually use them:

1. Hand you an address instantlyOpen the site and an address is already waiting. Copy it, paste it, done. Open an inbox →
2. Show mail as it landsMessages appear on the page in real time. No refresh button, no login screen, no notification you have to go and find.
3. Let you pick how long it livesTwo minutes for a single verification code, twenty for a slower sign-up flow. See the options →
4. Offer an education-domain optionA separate flow for addresses on education domains, for services that only accept them. Read more →
5. Expose it all through an APICreate addresses and read messages programmatically, for test suites and automation. API documentation →

What makes us different

Disposable email is a crowded field. We are not trying to out-feature anyone. Five choices we made differently:

Free with no paywallEvery lifetime option, every domain and the API are open. There is no tier that unlocks the inbox you already opened.
Nothing asked of youNo account, no password, no recovery address. We cannot lose what we never collected.
Short by default, not by accident10 minutes is the default because a disposable address that lives for days is just another inbox to forget about.
34 languages, not just EnglishThe interface, the guides and the help pages are translated, not machine-rendered on the fly in a browser.
We name the limitsWe say plainly where this tool should not be used instead of letting you find out when you are locked out of an account.

Who it is for

Anyone behind an email wallA whitepaper, a coupon, a download link — things that ask for an address purely to add you to a list.
People trying softwareFree trials and demo accounts you may never open again, without tying them to your real identity.
Developers and testersSign-up and verification flows need throwaway addresses on every run. The API makes that scriptable.
Forum and community usersRegister, confirm, and keep your real address out of a member database you have no control over.
Anyone already drowning in spamStop feeding the problem. New sign-ups go to an address that will not exist next week.
People on the moveThe same service on iOS and Android.

Who is behind TempsMail

TempsMail is built and operated by XCORP (Business Registration No. 0315842874), a small technology company with offices in St. Petersburg, Florida and Hanoi, Vietnam. The work splits three ways:

  • Infrastructure — the mail servers that accept messages, the expiry job that removes them, and keeping both running without holding data longer than stated.
  • Product and interface — the web app, the iOS and Android apps, and the translations into 34 languages.
  • Content and support — the guides, the help pages, and answering what comes through the contact form.

One thing said plainly: a temporary address is for things that do not matter much. Do not use TempsMail for banking, government services, work accounts, or anything you will need to recover later — once the address expires, password resets sent to it are gone and we cannot bring them back. It is also not a channel for anything unlawful. We would rather be clear about this up front than deal with it afterwards.

How we operate

Where addresses come from

Each address is a random local part on one of our own active domains. We run 5 of them publicly. Nothing about you is needed to generate one, so nothing about you is stored alongside it.

What happens to messages

Mail is accepted by our servers and shown to the session that owns the address. When the address reaches the end of its lifetime it stops accepting mail and the messages are deleted. The default lifetime is 10 minutes; the longest on offer is twenty.

What we keep, and for how long

Because there are no accounts, there is no profile to keep. Operational records needed to run the service are described in our Privacy Policy, which is the authoritative document — this page is a summary, not a substitute for it.

When something looks wrong

If an address will not generate, a message never arrives, or a page behaves oddly, tell us through the contact form and include what you were doing at the time. Reports with that detail get fixed; reports without it usually cannot be reproduced.

Frequently asked questions

Is TempsMail really free?
Yes. Every address, every lifetime option and the API are free, and none of it requires an account. There is no paid tier that unlocks an inbox you have already opened.
Do I need to register or give you an email address?
No. Opening the site is the whole process — an address is generated for you before you type anything. There is no password, no phone number and no recovery address, because there is no account to recover.
How long does a temporary address last?
10 minutes by default. You can choose 2, 5, 15 or 20 minutes instead. When the time is up the address stops accepting mail and its messages are deleted — it cannot be reopened, so collect what you need before it expires.
Can I use a TempsMail address for my bank or a work account?
No, and please do not. Anything you may need to recover later — banking, government services, work logins, a shop that will email your receipts — needs an address that still exists next month. Once a temporary address expires, password resets sent to it are gone for good.
Is using temporary email legal?
Yes. Disposable email is an ordinary privacy tool, widely used to avoid marketing lists and reduce exposure in data breaches. What is not acceptable is using any email service, ours included, for fraud, harassment or anything else unlawful.
Can the sender tell it is a temporary address?
Sometimes. Our domains are public, and some services keep lists of disposable-email domains and reject them. If a sign-up refuses the address, that is the service choosing not to accept disposable mail — there is nothing broken on our side.
My message has not arrived. What now?
Give it a moment: delivery depends on the sender, not on us, and some services queue mail for a minute or two. Check that the address was copied in full, and that it has not already expired. If it still does not arrive, tell us through the contact form and say which service you were signing up for.
Can I get my messages back after the address expires?
No. Deletion is the point of the service — expired messages are removed and there is no archive to restore from. If something matters enough to keep, send it somewhere permanent instead.
